Accounts

There are a variety of accounts issued to people associated with YCP. Here are the most common:

YCP Network Account

This is the most used and common account for current students & employees. It includes MyYCP, campus computer access, Google apps, files saved on YCP network drives, Flex funds, and more.

Student network account

An email from LTS will be sent upon acceptance. 

Alumni network account

Your network account will transition from student to alumni one year after graduation.

Employee network account

Please contact us for your account 48 hours after you've submitted all Human Resources paperwork.

Note: Unless you officially retire as a faculty member, you will not retain access to your network account after employment (regardless of whether you're also an alumni).

Retiree network account

Per our Account Management Policy, as an officially retired faculty member, you will retain your network account. This includes access to all applications, such as YCP Google Apps and your campus Home (H:) drive. Your library permissions will be transitioned to those of a community member.

Guest network account

This allows guests to use campus computers and access additional resources. If you need one for a guest, or if you plan to have multiple guests on campus, please contact the LTS Help Desk

YCPWeb Account

As a student or employee, your class schedules, transcripts, e-bills, class registration, housing requests, records, and more are in YCPWeb.

Parent Proxy

Students can grant their parents (or anyone else they would like) access to warning and final grades, as well as deposit and eBill payments from YCPWeb.

AD (active directory) only account

For use by our vendors including J.D. Brown Center Incubator clients, and others.

  • Provides limited permissions.

  • Created only as needed.

Provides potential access to

  • Campus computer login, either to a single machine or across campus.

  • Network drives

  • Servers

  • Wi-Fi for personal devices.

Request an AD Only Account

Contact us with the

  • Name of the account user

  • Access needed for the user

  • Duration of needed access

  • Reason for your request
