MyYCP or MyApps, is hosted by Microsoft and serves as the starting point for students and employees to access YCP provided applications. Each application has its own icon, such as the Gmail icon for your YCP email account, or the Canvas icon for accessing course materials. 


Create Your Personal MyYCP with the Customization Features

  • Collapse/Expand Collections
    • Next to the name of your collection name, you will find an arrow.
      • To collapse the collection, click the arrow.
        • Note: A new collection always starts collapsed.
      • To expand the collection, click the arrow again.
  • Create a Collection
    • "Create collection" is located at the top right in between "Add apps" and "Customize view"
    • You can choose to name the collection whatever you need
    • After that, you can choose to add whatever apps you feel necessary through the "Add apps" button
    • When you're done, click create to finalize the collection
  • Manage Collections
    • You can choose to choose to display your collections however way you want
    • If you have more than one collection, all you have to do is click and drag to rearrange the order
  • Layout
    • You can choose between list view or grid view
    • Additionally, you can choose view your collections in a continuous or focused view.
  • Edit
    • Edit allows you to edit what apps you want in your collection in regards to what order and what apps are there
    • You can rearrange the order of the apps by clicking and dragging the apps in however way you want
    • You can also choose what apps you want in the collection by:
      • Using "Add apps" to add specific apps
      • Clicking the trash can icon next to apps you do not want to remove it
  • Hide
    • Hide allows you to hide a collection to not show on your apps dashboard
    • Once you hide your collection, the only way to get it back is through customize view
      • Click manage collections and refer to Hidden collections
      • To un-hide your collection click the eye icon and click apply
  • Reorder
    • Reorder allows you adjust the order of your collections
    • You can adjust the order by clicking and dragging
  • Add a Site
    • After clicking "Add a site", you can choose to name it whatever you please
    • Next, you are going to need to put in the URL
      • Best way to go about this is go directly to the website itself to copy and paste it
    • If available, you can also add the site to a collection
  • Request New Apps
    • After clicking "Request new apps", you will be directed to a page where you can request certain apps
    • If you do not see the applications you want or need, please contact us
  • Reset to Default
    • Resetting to default with bring back the default apps page to its original state before any changes were made.
