Body
Digital files can have clickable links and interactive elements. They're often more accessible than prints for students with disabilities, simple to share and backup, and easy to edit or search for a word, phrase, or character.
Sometimes, you simply have to print. But, as much as possible, please consider our digital suggestions. We're happy to help you with any.
Suggestions
-
Save as a PDF: Anything that you can print, you can save as a PDF instead, and still add notes to it.
-
Scan to email: Turn your prints and hard copies into digital files for yourself or others.
-
Upload files and folders to Google Drive: View, share, store, and edit files, with no need for a hard copy.
-
Create and share a Google Doc: Use Google apps to collaborate, share, edit, add notes, and more in real time. Do most anything you could in a Word or printed document, then share it with anyone you like.
-
Use Canvas: Provide easy access to paperless course resources, exams, and assignments. Allow students to submit almost anything digitally.
-
Fax over IP: Fax digital files using your YCP email.
-
Store in Network Drives: Securely save or backup your files on our network & servers.
-
Meet in our smart classrooms: Utilize rooms with projection to display information.
Are we missing something? Let us know; we'd love to hear how you make and share resources!
