Scan

There are a few places across campus where you can scan physical documents or images to an email as digital files.

Tip: After you've scanned to your email, you can use your email to fax it.

Note: FOIP is not a secure method to send sensitive information (such as credit card, social security, and health record content) to anyone outside of YCP.

  • Visit the Schmidt Library.

  • To the right of the LTS Help Desk, find a scanning station.

    • Tip: Ask us for help, at the desk, if you like!

  • Sign into a computer beside a scanner, then the prompts will direct you through the process.

  • Check your email account for your finished scan.

    • Tip: You can store or share your new digital file via email, Google Drive, Canvas, and more.
