Microsoft Authenticator our recommended app for
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This app connects to your YCP account to confirm your identity when logging in and provides a way to recover your password if forgotten.
- If you select this option, you can also use other authenticators like Google Authenticator or Authy.
- Some systems require the Microsoft Authenticator app (such as remote desktop). Please reach out if you have any questions about this.
MFA-Capable Device Requirement: Completing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) requires the owner of each YCP account to have access to an MFA-capable device. Such a device is most commonly a smartphone meeting the requirements of the most recent version of the Microsoft Authenticator.
