Prepare your poster file
You must submit your image as a precisely-sized PDF file.
Using an Adobe Application?
If you're creating your image file in an Adobe application, you should be able to export it as an appropriately sized PDF, with exact dimensions.
If you don't know how, either contact your professor or follow the 2 steps below instead.

Printing multiple posters at once?
Often, you can save a significant amount of poster cost by arranging multiple images within the same PDF page.
Remember: Including any space you leave between or around the images, one of their combined dimensions cannot exceed 42 inches.

Using PowerPoint
Prepare your Slide
- Create your PowerPoint slide to your liking
- We suggest starting with the blank layout
- Click the Design tab at the top
- Click Custom Slide Size...
- Adjust the size settings to your liking
Create your PDF file
- Click File on the top left
- Click Save as Adobe PDF
OR
- Click File on the top left
- Click Export
- Click Create Adobe PDF
- Click Create Adobe PDF again
OR
- Click File on the top left
- Click Print
- For Printer, select Adobe PDF or Microsoft Print to PDF
We'll send you an email when your poster is complete. Then, visit us at the LTS Help Desk, in the Schmidt Library, to pick it up.
Note: Your poster will not be trimmed, so it will likely have some white space around the image. We have a poster trimmer in the Library that you're welcome to use; if you need any help, ask us at the Help Desk.
