Located in the Schmidt Library, it's our simplified recording studio that requires just the touch of a button (and a thumb drive).
Here you can record presentations, interviews, demonstrations, use the whiteboard, or stand in front of your PowerPoint while you talk.
Note: Our One Button Studio is only available by reservation and while the library is open. To reserve the studio, contact us.
Reserve the One Button Studio (LIBRY 112).
We suggest one hour.
Bring everything you need.
Flash Drive with at least 1GB of free space.
Any desired props.
Your presentation.
Stored on your Google Drive, Shared Drive, or external drive.
Visit the Schmidt Library for access.
Insert your flash drive into the USB hub.
This will turn on the studio lights and camera.
When you are ready to record, press the large silver button.
You will have a 5 second countdown before recording begins.
When you are finished, press the button again to stop recording.
Wait a few moments for your file to be written to your flash drive.
You can follow the progress on the screen.
Remove your flash drive.
The studio lights will turn off.
Your recording is saved to your flash drive as an .mp4 file that you can upload to VidGrid for storage, sharing, & closed captioning.
