LastPass

Found at: lastpass.com

You can safely store, share and create unguessable passwords across your devices with LastPass. Bonus, it's free on one device.

Tip: For personal uses, Bitwarden (a similar password manager that we've tested) is free on multiple devices. We like both, but prefer LastPass for YCP employees.

For extra features, YCP employees may contact us to request a LastPass Enterprise account.

Enable multi-factor authentication
After you enter your password on a site, multi-factor authentication also buzzes your phone for your quick approval. This way, even if someone stole your password, they still wouldn't get into your account.

  • Visit lastpass.com.

  • Select Log In.

  • Log into (or sign up for) your LastPass account.

  • Select your email address, in the top right.

  • Select Account Settings > Multifactor Options.

  • Select the pencil icon next to the authenticator app you would like to install on your mobile device.

  • Change the Enabled option to Yes.

  • Enter your LastPass Master Password to confirm.

  • If you haven't already, find and install the authenticator app, that you chose, on your phone and/or tablet.
