Find The Size of a File

Sometimes you need to know how much storage a file will take up, or the dimensions of an image.

Tip: You can resize an image, if it's too large.

 

Find file size

  • Right-click on the file.

  • Select Properties.

  • Find Size.

Find image file dimensions

  • Right-click on the file.

  • Select Properties > Details.

  • Under Image, find Dimensions.

 

Find file size

  • Right-click on the file.

  • Select Get Info.

  • Under General, find Size.

Find image file dimensions

  • Right-click on the file.

  • Select Get Info.

  • Under More Info, find Dimensions.
