At YCP, we offer a wide variety of ways for instructors to teach digital material. ScreenBeam allows you to display without any wires (dongles, cables, or any subscription fees). It supports a wide variety of devices including, Windows, macOS. Android devices and iOS devices.
Before trying to attempt ScreenBeaming, you need to make sure you are on the college's network.
Windows:
- Press "Windows + K" on the keyboard
- This will open the cast option
- Select the desired screen that you want to display to
- Wait for the PIN verification
Android Devices:
- Open settings
- Tap display then wireless display
- Select the desired screen that you want to display to
- Wait for the PIN verification
macOS/iOS:
- Open the Control Center in iOS or click on the Airplay menu in macOS
- Select Screen Mirroring
- Select the desired screen that you want to display to
- Wait for the PIN verification
Chrome OS:
- Open Chrome
- Select the Chrome Settings menu
and choose "Cast"
- Click down arrow next to "Cast" to and select Desktop
- Select the desired screen that you want to display to
- Wait for the PIN verification
