Software Center

Software Center is on all YCP Windows computers and should be able to be accessed by any person with YCP Staff/Faculty credentials. Software Center is used to update and/or install any application that is approved by LTS. 

Note: Software seen on Software Center will vary from person to person depending on your set groups. 


Accessing Software Center

Directly from the Windows search bar

  • Located to the right of the Windows icon on the bottom left of your screen

  • Click on the search bar
  • Type "Software Center" into the search bar
  • It should appear under "best match" as you type it in
    • Either click "Enter" on the keyboard or use your mouse to click on the application to open it

 

From the "Windows" key on the keyboard

  • Located at the bottom of your keyboard in between the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys

  • Click the "Windows" key
    • This should pull up the Windows search function on your screen
  • Type "Software Center"
  • It should appear under "best match" as you type it in
    • Either click "Enter" on the keyboard or use your mouse to click on the application to open it
